Ermyn Way housing development update #Ashtead #Leatherhead

Update on the likely 270 home development on Green Belt at land south of Ermyn Way on the border of Ashtead and Leatherhead.

Documents published as part of the recent March/April 2024 consultation on MVDC Local Plan modifications required by the Government Planning Inspector show the direction of travel on building out the site, which MVDC decided to include in its Local Plan following earlier rounds consultation.

The site is promoted by private sector property developers and it is not a Council led proposal. Lichfields planning consultants responded on behalf of the developers Countryside and Wates setting out the likely timing for a planning application for the site allocation off Ermyn Way KT22.

Summer 2024 preapplication engagement followed by an outline application- all quite routine including prior discussion with SCC highways and transport officers. bear in mind the response was submitted in April and dates can change.
