35 year old man charged with multiple offences #Leatherhead

A man has been charged with a string of offences, including burglary with intent to inflict grievous bodily harm and intentional strangulation, following an incident at an address in #Leatherhead over the weekend.

Scott Kendry, 35 (DOB 25/9/1988), was charged with 10 offences, including burglary with intent to inflict GBH, attempt GBH, intentional strangulation and criminal damage in relation to the incident on Sunday (19 May).

Officers were called to a residential address in Barnett Close around 4.10am on Sunday (19 May), following reports that a man in his 40s had been assaulted.

The victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries and has since been discharged.

Kendry was also charged with intentional strangulation and assault occasioning actual bodily harm in relation to an incident in Leatherhead, on 16 April and threatening behaviour, assault by beating an emergency worker, possession of cannabis and intentional harassment in relation to an incident in Leatherhead, on 3 February.

He was remanded in custody and is due to appear at court this morning (21 May).
